Doctoral students in full-time study are required to:

- in the 6th semester: submit another article for peer review to a journal which, at the time of submission, is ranked at least in Q2 according to SJR or in Q3 according to AIS, also in a field related to the doctoral student’s dissertation.
Doctoral students in combined (part-time) study are required to:
- in the 5th semester: submit an article for peer review to a journal which, at the time of submission, is ranked at least in Q2 according to SJR or in Q3 according to AIS, in a field related to the doctoral student’s dissertation.
VŠE maintains the VŠE Publication Database, where you can find information about academic journals, including their quartile rankings, impact factors and other indicators.
The VŠE Library (CIKS) also organises seminars on how to work with publication and research databases. Through CIKS, you also have free access to a wide range of electronic resources.
