PhDay 2026 | Doctoral Studies Day at VŠE

The VŠE Doctoral Hub invites you to the very first PhDay – a networking afternoon and evening designed for all doctoral candidates, supervisors, and doctoral alumni across all faculties of VŠE.

When: June 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM
Where: In good weather, under the plane tree between the New and Old Buildings; in case of bad weather, in the Quattro Modulare classroom (don’t worry – information signs will be available on-site to help you find your way).

What can you look forward to?

• the announcement of the award for the best doctoral supervisor of the 2025/26 academic year,
• a relaxed atmosphere and space for informal sharing of the joys and challenges connected with doctoral studies,
• good food, drinks, and live music – but above all, excellent company!

PhD studies are often a highly individual experience. PhDay therefore offers an opportunity to meet people facing similar challenges, inspire one another, and become part of an open and supportive academic community.

Registration

Participation in the event is free of charge; however, we would appreciate it if you could register in advance using the form below. We mainly need the registration for organizational and catering purposes – we want to make sure there is enough food, drinks, and space for everyone attending. Register please!
